Breaking into the European Union market challenged producing food companies to change their production methods. Trade organizations enforced the producers to show the proof that the offered products for sale are of the highest quality.
HACCP system functioning in companies that produce and market the food products is intended to assure the health safety of food offered by these companies. We are the first company of horticultural business in Poland producing tomatoes and cucumbers where the supervision of the product’s quality system was introduced – HACCP system. In 2003 we obtained a TUV CERT Quality Certificate of HACCP system with regard to production, storing and distribution of greenhouse tomatoes and cucumbers.
GLOBALGAP is an independent, voluntary system of food safety assurance for the original horticultural production. This system was created in order to formulate common procedures and a uniform standard for GAP (Good Agricultural Practice) as well as to ensure the food safety. One of the main aims of the standard is to keep to a minimum using fertilizers and protection products so that the negative influence on the environment is limited.
